absolutely beautiful, daddy. i want to dive into that lush green sea of old imagery that my uncles swam decades ago, until the thick air stagnated and settled in their eyes, veins, skin, shadows.

The idea behind "Fotograft" has been swirling in my head for a couple of years now. Basically, the idea behind it was to create a magazine/journal that consisted ONLY of digital artwork, with a particular focus on social, emotional, political commentary. The rules: no text (with the exception of the cover title) and no ads whatsoever. It would be up to the viewer to "read" the art and determine it's message. But I guess what trying now would be called a "graphic diary". I pretty much took images that would represent the various things lingering in mind. The Arabic is backwards and faded on purpose, but I won't say why. I rather see your own interpretations.
Since it's backwards and faded, the text has a visual function, rather than a literal, informative one. To be honest, I chose the text without a clue as to what it meant.
so if i contribute to this hypothetical magazine/journal that consisted only of digital artwork, and i use western text my digital artwork in a similar fashion as in your "Fotograft", where it serves primarily as a visual funtion and not a literal one, my entries would be accepted?
